ALONE & STUCK OUT OF TOWN
After his mother went to jail, and left in the care of family friends, Wiremu was stuck in rural Matamata, isolated without transport.
With the help of Te Aranui Youth Trust, he had support and didn’t feel alone and was given transport to and from Matamata. He attended the Holiday Programme and learned to make better decisions, respect for himself and care for others.
